Show the math
Whole clock minutes only. Decimal hours retain unrounded values; no payroll rounding, overtime, tax or daylight-saving adjustment.
What this means
Subtract unpaid breaks from each clock duration, then add worked minutes. The table lets you check each entry.
Worked example
08:00 to 16:30 is 510 minutes. A 30-minute unpaid break leaves 480 minutes: 8 hours or 8.0 decimal hours. 22:00 to 06:00 with a 30-minute break gives 7.5 hours.
How the math works
Worked minutes = end − start (plus 1,440 if end is earlier) − break. Decimal hours = total worked minutes/60.
About this estimate
Each entry is shorter than 24 hours; equal times mean zero. Entries are added independently without detecting overlaps. Clock duration ignores dates, daylight-saving changes and payroll rules. No pay, overtime or tax is calculated.
