Show the math
Estimates use unrounded numbers. Displayed amounts round to cents.
What this means
The area and production rate estimate worker-hours. Per-visit costs and markup give a price, then visit count gives the planning-period total.
Worked example
10,000 ft² at an illustrative 2,500 ft²/worker-hour needs 4 worker-hours. At $25/hour plus $15 supplies and $20 overhead, cost is $135. A 25% markup gives $168.75/visit and $2,025 for 12 visits.
How the math works
Hours/visit = area ÷ ft² per worker-hour. Cost/visit = hours × labor cost/hour + supplies + overhead. Price = cost × (1 + markup/100). Period total = price × visits.
About this estimate
Rates vary by scope, surfaces, access and site conditions. All inputs are editable illustrations. No tax, minimum charge or separate subcontractor cost is inferred. Period total uses unrounded per-visit math; this estimator is not a replacement for quote.
